Join members of the Midlands Network for another remote film night via Zoom. You are invited to watch “Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner”, a Canadian epic film telling an ancient Inuit legend.

The film is available on Apple TV/iTunes (£3.49). This extraordinary film was the first film to be written, directed, and acted completely in Inuktitut. The film won the Caméra d’Or at Cannes and is truly a feast for the eyes. We will have a discussion about the contents of the film and also talk about the setting and the ”making of”.

The Zoom meeting will be on Sunday 25 April at 5pm, so please make sure you have seen the film before then. You will receive a link to join the meeting by email, together with a few discussion questions to think about if you wish. Feel free to bring a glass of something to the discussion!
