Event report

Thank you very much to those who attended our event on “Promoting effective and more inclusive communication in an international workplace”.

During the session, speakers Zanne Gaynor and Kathryn Alevizos from Acrobal-Global talked about why they set up their company and how they came to write their first book, Is that clear? Effective communication in a multilingual world, which was shortlisted at the Business Book Awards 2020. They shared first-hand experiences from their international students as well as participants from their workshops who have applied Acrobat-Global’s strategies in the workplace. They also offered some practical advice on how we can address language barriers in international settings and become more inclusive communicators.

Furthermore, Zanne and Kathryn talked about their second book, Is that Clear? Effective communication in a neurodiverse world, which supports and empowers non-autistic people to make their communications with autistic people more successful, with less confusion and overwhelm.

Everyone enjoyed the presentation and shared their personal experiences.
