Plan your CPD for the year ahead

Now is the time to plan your CPD for the coming membership year.

The new season of eCPD Webinars begins with the annual Kick-off webinar on Tuesday 4 September at 10.30am BST. It covers the upcoming programme and is an opportunity to hear from some of the speakers who will be delivering webinars this Autumn.

It is free to take part, but places are restricted so please book early to avoid disappointment. Click here to register.

Although CPD is not mandatory for CIOL members, it is strongly encouraged. We have compiled a list of FAQs on the website so you can find out why CPD is important. CPD is of course mandatory for our members who are chartered.

Here is a taster of the webinars coming up this month:
Legal Terminology for Linguists – continuation of a series of six webinars focusing on interpreting for the civil and criminal justice systems in the UK

Continuous Improvement for Translators and Interpreters – a webinar to provide a simple set of tools to help you improve your practice and performance

Competing in a Global World – a three-part course that will give you practical tools to retain high value clients, build your brand and plan your strategy

Tablets for Translators, Writers and Language Professionals – comprised of four interactive lessons, this series will cover every aspect of tablet use and how to make your work more stimulating and dynamic

Remember, CIOL members receive a 10% discount on webinars.
