We are aware that many of our members around the world will have concerns about the current coronavirus outbreak, and in many cases will already have felt the effect of this global health emergency.

CIOL’s ethos is to put its members at the heart of everything we do, and in the weeks to come, we will be supporting you both directly and indirectly in the following ways:

• Significantly increasing the promotion of our Find-a-Linguist service to highlight the services offered by CIOL members
• Reminding governments around the world of the need to include freelancers in their support plans during this time
• Running a number of free webinars over the coming months to support those in the languages profession
• Releasing articles around health and wellbeing and marketing freelancer services

We understand these are worrying times. Both businesses and governments have a duty to ensure accurate communications with the public during this time.
