Chartered status is considered a mark of professional competency and is awarded by chartered professional bodies and learned societies.

DPSI candidate recommendations overview

We strongly recommend that candidates attend a preparatory course, although it is not obligatory. Courses may vary in length depending upon the level and skills of the candidate.

As the Awarding Organisation for the DPSI we do not offer any preparation courses and we do not regulate such courses.

To assist candidates with preparation we have collated the following recommendations:

Membership fees

New members


New members can join at any time of year and receive a full year of membership. Your membership will begin on the day it is confirmed and will be valid for a full calendar year.

Payment


If your admission to membership is successful, CIOL will notify you by email. For Career Affiliate, Associate, Member and Fellow grades we will also confirm your grade of membership and the membership fee due.
