Chartered Linguist
Statement: Over twenty years’ experience of translation and editing work covering a wide range of art historical, cultural heritage and technical subjects. Translation of certificates, diplomas and similar documentation undertaken. Details of publications, and a CV, are available on request. Apart from Italian, I also take on work in French and German. I collaborated on the translation of the compendious volumes of the Bénézit Dictionnaire critique et documentaire des peintres, sculpteurs, dessinateurs et graveurs. I have an MPhil in the History of Art (University of Warwick) and am currently exploring the religious culture of medieval Italy as expressed in its art.
