Chartered Linguist
Statement: Hello, I have been a freelancer for 20 years, translating technical texts mainly for the engineering industry. I used to work for VW in Wolfsburg and still translate manuals for them through an agency. I have a technical background, am health and safety trained (holder of NEBOSH and British Safety Council certificates) and have a PGCE (I also teach occasionally through an agency). I love my job and am happiest translating operating and repair instructions, training documents, subtitles and teaching A' German.
