Statement: I have excellent Chinese reading ability and extensive knowledge of China and Taiwan’s history, culture, politics, economy and society. I have a BA (Hons) in East Asian Studies and a post-graduate level Diploma in Translation from the CIOL Educational Trust. I am an experienced and professional Chinese-English translator. I translate Traditional and Simplified characters. My recent work includes regular translation for the Taiwan government agencies the Sports Administration, the National Development Council, and the Overseas Community Affairs Council, and the Institute for National Defense and Security Research. I have also frequently edited medical translations for overseas clients.
