Statement: I have been working as a linguist for 16 years, covering both freelance work and in-house positions, specialising in law. I hold degrees in both Russian and Law. Typical translation assignments include judgments, court applications and evidence, though I am also happy to take on more general work outside the legal field. My in-house roles have involved working for the UK Civil Service to identify and translate information affecting UK Government policy, and running a team of translators for a law firm, translating high volumes of legal documents to exacting quality standards and tight deadlines.
