Chartered Linguist
Statement: I am a native speaker of Farsi (Persian) and have studied, worked and lived in the UK since 1998. I hold a BA in English Literature (Tehran), an MA in English Language Teaching (Tehran) and a PhD in Computational Linguistics (Essex). I specialise in legal translation and have translated thousands of legal and/or financial documents from or into Farsi since I became a member of the Institute in 1999. I also enjoy translating literary works and have so far published a translation collection of Iranian short stories, entitled Perceived Differently and a translated novel From the Devil, Learned and Burned.
