Statement: I am a native English speaker and qualified German to English translator/proofreader based in Brighton, UK, with extensive experience in corporate communications, marketing texts and academic publications. I also have a keen interest in finance. My translations have been published in international magazines, brochures and respected academic journals. I am familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style and can ensure texts adhere to UK or US style guidelines. I hold a BA in English and German and an MA in Translation and Interpreting and have over ten years’ experience both in-house and as a freelance translator. My specialisms are politics & current affairs, academic proofreading (humanities) and corporate communications.
