Statement: Phillippa May Bennett successfully completed her PhD in Translation and Terminology in December 2024. She also lectures in Translation and English at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Coimbra and has been a professional Portuguese-English translator in the Life Sciences for the last 15 years. She holds an MA from St John's College Cambridge and the Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists. She is a member of CETAPS, CIOL, MET and Tremedica. Specialist Fields: Medical (especially Clinical Trials, Patient/Doctor surveys and interviews), Ethics Committee Material, Market Research, Business, Social Sciences and Human Rights.
