Chartered Linguist
Statement: A full-time freelance translator with 30 years' experience, I specialise in legal, business, high-end editorial/creative and tourism texts.
I hold an MA in Legal Translation from City University and pursue a regular programme of professional development activities including attendance at conferences and seminars, court visits, reading professional publications and journals, personal terminology research and glossary creation.
I deliver an annual short course of seminars on professional practice and legal translation on the European Masters in Translation at the CeTIM, University of Toulouse.
