Statement: At present I specialise in patent translations in particular, but also in Health & Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Control, Lighting, and the Tyre Industry. I am a Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting. In the past I have been a distance tutor for London City University's postgraduate course in preparation for the Institute of Linguists' Translation Diploma, and am still an occasional assessor/moderator for the Institute of Translation and Interpreting's admission examination.
