Statement: I am a Lecturer in Portuguese and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with considerable experience at university and college levels. I am fully conversant with European and Brazilian Portuguese and my professional experience includes work as university external examiner, language assessor and private tuition at all levels.
I also work as interpreter/translator for the British Justice System, Home Office, NHS, government agencies and private customers. Qualifications: PhD in Linguistics • MA in Linguistics & English Language Teaching • BA (Hons) in English & Portuguese • Metropolitan Police Test • CIoL Postgraduate Diploma in Translation. Professional Memberships: NRPSI and CIoL. Security Clearances: CTC, NPPV3, Enhanced DBS.
