Statement: More than 15 years' experience as a linguist (mainly as a translator and project manager, but also as a former teacher and interpreter), author of articles on the topic of translation, conference speaker, interested in research.
Having lived and worked in the UK since 2009, I have a thorough knowledge of both Romanian and British cultures and I understand linguistic nuances and subtleties. My favourite texts are in two quite distinct areas: those involving creativity and those requiring precision.
I love the challenge that translation brings: conveying a whole culture, not just words, helping people understand and be understood. Passionate about nutrition and exercise, so texts in these two areas are definitely my cup of tea.
