Statement: With a translation degree from universities in the UK, Germany and France, I have over 15 years' experience translating from English into German and vice versa for personal, agency and corporate clients. Several of my non-fiction translations have been published in the US and in the UK, including the New York Times bestseller "My Grandfather Would Have Shot Me" by Jennifer Teege. I specialise in history, especially modern Jewish history, as well as food & cooking-related texts such as cookbooks, websites, etc. I have also several years' experience in proofreading German translations and texts. In addition, I specialise in old German script. I have transcribed and translated hundreds of letters written in "Suetterlin", an old German script.
