Statement: I have worked as a freelance translator of legal, medical, social science, politics/government and literary texts from/into English/Romanian for many years. I have extensive editorial, copy-editing, and proofreading experience in a variety of research fields, from humanities and social sciences to medicine, science and engineering. I can make any written text better, more effective, more elegant, more persuasive, more concise. I have worked as examiner, test-setter, proofreader and assessor for CIOL, FCO, MOD and the European Commission (via Communicaid) and taught Romanian at degree level at SSEES, UCL. I have also obtained a CELTA qualification in 2016.
