Chartered Linguist
Statement: I specialise in creative translation, and focus mainly on translation for the visual arts, media and advertising (transcreation), and translation of children’s books. I also have extensive experience in interlingual subtitling (films, TV series, corporate etc).
For 15 years (2000-2015) I was a part-time lecturer on translation theory and audiovisual translation theory and practice at Master’s level (UK), and now I still run ad-hoc workshops and seminars on subtitling and transcreation.
