Chartered Linguist
Statement: I have been working as a professional translator for over 15 years. My experience covers various fields and genres. Professionally, I have translated in the fields of automobile trade, general trading, legal, media, news, journalism, software, websites, education, assessment, and teacher training. I also volunteer as a lead reviewer and senior translator in a website focused on media coverage of the Syrian crisis.
My current work at the University of Manchester is on ancient Arabic manuscripts, which enriches my knowledge of Arabic as it gives me access to texts that use a high level of Fuṣḥa Arabic.
