Statement: I offer self-certified translations, e.g. of marriage certificates. I translate from French and German into English. After working in translation agencies in Germany and the UK, I went freelance in 2016. Shortly after that I took six months out of freelancing to complete a translation traineeship at the European Parliament in Luxembourg. In 2018 I obtained the Diploma in Translation from CIOL, and in 2020 I completed the MA in Literary Translation at UEA, where I won the BCLT Prize for Best Dissertation. I now specialise in translating literary fiction, and am particularly interested in poetic prose. I also write reader's reports for New Books in German.
