Chartered Linguist
Statement: My speciality is subtitling, audio-visual translation, mental health issues, social services, arts, music, gastronomy. I worked for Tokyo LGBT film festival and JVC Video Festival and created subtitles. The recent films I subtitles for include a feature length film, The Sweet Requiem. Published translations are bi-lingual literary magazine, Red Leaves and music magazine, Cookie Scenes. As for interpreting, I have a long experience in business and community interpreting. Currently I'm specialised in mental health issues such as interpreting for counselling and psychotherapy and social service related work working with solicitors. I provide one-to-one private tuitions both off and online.
