Statement: As an experienced Francophone Public Service Interpreter and Translator, interpreting and translating in medical, legal and local government settings. I interpret simultaneously within public settings as well as at international online conferences for medical research projects, global humanitarian aid, non-governmental organisations, policy & campaign meetings, and international financial institutions. I am a member of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters, and a qualified trainer in dealing with sexual violence in a migration context. I have trained interpreters in child protection, dealing with vulnerable adults, and the potential vicarious trauma linked to such settings.
