Chartered Linguist

Statement: I am working as a legal language specialist and supports legal projects on comparative and international law. I also have a strong track record of research in the use of language in legal contexts, as well as in both law and linguistics more generally. I hold a Master of Law from the University of Cambridge, and two Bachelor’s degrees in Arts and in Law from the University of Hong Kong. I am open to fixed-term or short-term contractual engagements. I am well capable of and have ample experience in translating and interpreting from and to Cantonese, English and Mandarin. I also teach Cantonese, English, and Mandarin, and welcome students at all levels. Lessons are currently held remotely due to COVID-19.
