Chartered Linguist
Statement: I work as a freelance German-English translator based in Berlin, Germany. Having a more analytical mindset coupled with a flair for languages, I specialise in legal and financial texts and have worked primarily for Germany-based LSPs that focus on legal and financial documents since 2015. I additionally translate from Swedish to English as I also speak the former. I hold degrees in Linguistics, German and Art History, and have completed the German State Translator Examination with a specialisation in law. I have held court authorisation/"sworn translator" status since December 2022.
