"Work without your own terms and conditions at your peril!"

Talk by Sue Leschen MCIL CL and networking reception, incorporating CIOL Translating Division's AGM.

Terms and conditions: why are they so important to freelancers? Come and find out why you cannot afford to work without your own terms and conditions or to blindly sign terms and conditions set out by agencies. With Sue Leschen MCIL CL, followed by networking drinks reception.

The talk focuses on why many freelancers don't have their own terms of business; how and where they can get them from; and the most important "shouldn't work without" T's & C's that we should all be using in our businesses.
