Statement: I started my translation and interpreting career after obtaining a degree in English language. When I started studying for a degree in criminology I found it very related to my field of work, dealing with police, probation, courts, local government, insurance companies etc. and in translation, transcription and transcreation. Now I am planning to merge my study in the field of linguistics with my study in criminology and my vast experience with the Criminal Justice System into forensic linguistics and being able to assist the justice not only as an interpreter or translator but as an expert witness too.
