Statement: Philip is a European Union accredited conference interpreter and a former staff translator of the European Union. With more than 10 years of experience, he was the first Chinese translator to have worked in-house for the European Union and he has been an accredited conference interpreter of the European Union since 2010. He is also a freelance interpreter for many other international organisations including the United Nations and its agencies. In addition, he is a non-practising solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. He also holds a teaching fellow post at the University of Bath and a visiting lecturer post at the University of Westminster for their prestigious postgraduate courses on interpreting and translation.
