Statement: After completing his Bachelor of Arts in General Linguistics and Spanish with a minor in Language and Communication at the University of Hong Kong with a First Class Honours, Angus went on to pursue a Master of Science in Developmental Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh. He subsequently completed his CELTA at International House London. He also obtained a Diploma in Chilean Studies from the University of Chile and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University. Prior to joining Hong Kong Baptist University as an Assistant Lecturer, he held research positions at the University of Hong Kong as well as teaching positions at various schools and institutions in Hong Kong, Chile and the United Kingdom.
