Statement: With over 30 years' experience in translation into English from Arabic, Farsi and Spanish, I have a broad range, working to strict deadlines. Following a first degree in Hispanic Studies and French and living one year in Spain, I moved on to take degrees in Arabic and Farsi. I have taught Spanish and French to secondary school and adult students, was awarded an M.Phil in Hispanic Studies whilst working full-time and have produced short plays in Arabic, Spanish and Basque. I enjoy writing stories for children and would now like to translate into English stories written in Spanish, Arabic and Farsi. I currently teach a course on Islam and world geopolitics.
