Statement: I am a native speaker of German who has lived in the UK for more than thirteen years, but has now relocated to Germany . Prior to becoming a freelance translator I was employed for three years by a major translation company in Sheffield. During my time there I worked on a broad range of subjects, including marketing, documentation, various websites, IT, multimedia and tourism. More recently I have worked mainly in the fields of IT and marketing, but have also completed numerous German translations of children’s books for a British publisher.
