Statement: I work mostly in literary, arts and academic translation.
Published novels: The Circumference of Oranges/La circonferenza delle arance (Storyside, 2023) and Cherry Blues/Giallo ciliegia (Storyside, 2024), the first two in a detective series by Gabriella Genisi, made into a RAI TV series, and which to my thrill featured cameo appearances by Inspector Montalbano!
Bilingual English/French by birth and a Londoner, Italy’s been my second home since I moved there in 2003. From 2008 to 2012 I lived in Beirut, where my mother’s family is from, which, with my 5+ years of past work on North Africa and the Middle East for Amnesty International, means I welcome projects involving my knowledge of Arabic and familiarity with that part of the world.
