Statement: Following a rich and varied career in languages, such as lexicography (dictionary published in 1993), export sales, lecturing, travel and tourism, and extended periods working in Europe, I became a full-time translator in 2008 following my MA. After four years’ in-house experience at SDL International working with numerous blue-chip companies, I started out as a freelancer and now work with a number of agencies and private clients. In addition to French and Spanish, I also work from Italian and Portuguese into English. I work with SDL Trados Studio 2011 and SDLX 2007 translation software.
