An experienced linguist and native German speaker, I left my career as Head of German after twenty successful years at a large independent school, qualified as a translator, and have never looked back!
I maintain a large network of German-speaking contacts, both personal and professional, and travel regularly between the UK and my native country. As a translator grounded in the humanities, I particularly enjoy texts which require careful analysis of voice and style as well as a degree of creative thinking.
