Statement: I'm a British citizen raised in first the German-speaking part and then the French-speaking part of Switzerland, where I'm still based. Thanks to this experience, I speak both of these languages fluently, in addition to my native English.
My bachelor’s and master’s studies in Chinese equip me to deal with a variety of sophisticated texts in the arts & humanities, and I use this background to help those in the cultural milieu bring their messages to life in English.
After a 14-year career in asset management & banking before becoming a translator, I’m also thoroughly familiar with financial terminology, and for the past 5 years, I have been working closely with a number of foundations and NGOs in the international cooperation space.
