Statement: I am a freelance German to English translator and lawyer-linguist. As a native British English speaker, I work with clients in the legal and tourism industries to make their texts accessible in English. I have a Scots Law with German LLB degree and a postgraduate Translation Studies Masters degree. I have been translating for over 5 years and have worked on a wide range of projects. Two of my top recent projects include a legal translation of a court document relating to the defence statement in a high-profile tax evasion case and translating various magazine articles for a tourism board in the Swiss Alps.
